Pinocchio was a fox kit from a litter of three. Her entire family consisted of foxes with fairly long-shaped-noses, but hers was extremely long, even compared to the other long-nose family members.. When you follow an animal for a longer period of time, eventually a name comes up and of course hers was.....Pinocchio. She might not have been your typically little cub, but to me her long nose gave her something special, something unique, something that makes me remember her as one of a kind..
